MongoDB is an American software company that produces a source-available database. This has grown to be one of the most wanted databases in the world because it makes it easy for developers to store, manage, and retrieve data when creating applications with most programming languages. Sleek began working with this client in 2022 and we built our relationship through trust, steadily gaining more projects and responsibility by delivering to the highest standard.
What
MongoDB.local is a global series of full-day, multi-track educational conferences meant to bring the best content directly to MongoDB customers, community members, and users in the region. Each event in the series featured a keynote, educational breakout sessions, regional customer speakers, MongoDB product booths and demos, 1:1 “Ask the Experts” consulting sessions, and more.
Sleek delivered two events in the global series, the first in Frankfurt at the Klassikstadt Museum - a unique, historic brick building, surrounded by a collection of classic cars. Sleek would also deliver the London event and this took place at the vast Grade I listed warehouse venue, ‘Tobacco Dock’.
How

Meticulous budget management was a critical element of this project, and we drew on our extensive experience by investing in the areas that would have the most impact, particularly when it came to branding. Sleek sort to exceed expectations in all areas, from negotiating more from our supplier network to hiring additional elements to complement the venue settings. Sleek provided a full sponsorship management service, ensuring that partners also felt the benefit of Sleek. We advised on both agenda and format of the conferences to ensure engagement was high throughout and delivered production values that were of premium quality. In addition, we were pleased to advise on methods to boost attendance and the results spoke for themselves.
The Result
Both the Frankfurt and London events stood out in the series for the attendance rates, London in particular achieved record numbers plus a notable buzz on social media which was a huge achievement for all involved. The Sleek team worked exceptionally hard in the preparation stages and then on site at both events to deliver the best possible experience, the client was very pleased and said they felt very well looked after. Many commented on the premium event experience and production values.
