We’re a friendly, social team that believes great work happens when people genuinely enjoy being together. From stepping away from our desks to share lunch, to weekly office drinks and team away days, we make time to relax, connect, and recharge.   We also hold weekly office drinks, team away days and wellness initiatives to help us decompress.  Working at Sleek, you’ll meet a diverse growth of people who all bring something a bit different. We come from diverse backgrounds, we all think in different ways, but what unites us is a commonality in our values.    That goes for our canine colleagues too! They can help us come up with our best solutions, whether that be from stepping outside on a walk or by lending an ear and an approving bark during an ideas session! 

FLEXIBILITY AND OFFICE DAYS

We’re also office first, in four days a week. Why? Because the best ideas happen together, in person. Collaboration thrives naturally and the next best idea can come from anyone in the company at any moment. Work happens more quickly, and our junior team learn more effectively. We also genuinely enjoy each other’s company!   We know flexibility helps though, whether to concentrate for productivity, miss the traffic, or care for others. We therefore offer:   Weekly "floating” WFH day - chose any day that works best for your schedule (except Monday)   Core hours - work 08:00 - 16:30, or 10:00 - 18:30, or a set of hours in between. Whatever works best.

TEAM SLEEK BENEFITS

  • 27 days off (with UK public holidays on top)

WHAT TO EXPECT IN AN INTERVIEW

Firstly, we expect applicants from all groups of society. If there is anything you need to adjust the indicative process below, please contact Georgie or Barge (they’re real people - not anonymous inboxes) on georgina@sleekevents.com or clairehb@sleekevents.com.  

  1. Virtual screening call: a chance for us to hear about your journey, fill in any blanks on Sleek and cover off basic checks. 

  2. Face to face 1st interview: values matter to us - we stay picky as it means the fit will be right both ways. We’re even more likely to hire someone with the right attitude and less experience. This chat will dive into who you are.  

  3. Face to face 2nd interview: Getting into the technical side - “what would you do in these scenarios”. We don’t expect all the answers, but we love to know how you approach common scenarios.  

 Additional stages:

  1. Psychometrics: depending on the level of the role - and don’t worry, it’s not old-school “how many shapes do you see”. It’s a questionnaire, followed by a real-life chat with a real-life, qualified psychologist. We want to know what makes you tick.  

  2. C-Suite / Board level coffee: depending on the seniority of the role, you may meet our most senior colleagues to engage in a topic of conversation.
