Sustainable Development Policy

Introduction

In recognition of the urgent need for sustainable practices, this Sustainable Development Policy outlines our commitment to promoting environmental stewardship, social equity, and governance. Our aim is to ensure that development meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Please note these principles may be adjusted in the future according to evolving requirements.

Our Mission

At Sleek, we are committed to fostering a sustainable future that embraces boundless potential. Our mission is to lead by example in integrating environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability into every facet of our operations.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to challenge, inspire and lead by example. Through innovative practices and collaborative partnerships, we bring our big-hearted approach and respect for people and our planet to create unforgettable experiences while minimising our environmental footprint, supporting local communities, and inspiring positive change.

Our Six-Year Roadmap

We’ve created a six-year roadmap to achieve our ambitious goals and set us on the right path to Net Zero. Through short, medium and long-term targets, we created practical steps and supporting infrastructure to empower our team, embed this Strategy into our processes and culture, and drive sustainable behaviour change. Further information on the Sleek six-year roadmap to net zero can be found here.

Core Principles

1. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY – PLANET

We commit to minimising our ecological footprint by adopting practices that promote resource conservation, biodiversity, and ecosystem health. This includes reducing waste, enhancing energy efficiency, and utilising renewable energy sources and carbon emissions measurement for our operations. We will implement a comprehensive environmental management system to monitor and evaluate our impacts using industry leading tools. In 2025 we plan to measure the emissions for ten events.

2. SOCIAL EQUITY – PEOPLE

We aim to create an optimistic work environment where every stakeholder feels safe to be themselves. This will contribute towards informing new policies or policy updates, ongoing employee engagement and support resources, along with regular consultation with staff to guide our leadership in their DEIBA decisions. Recognising the importance of the next generation, we will also sponsor programmes that support underrepresented young people to access roles in the events industry.

3 . GOVERNANCE – PARTNERS

Sustainable development requires strong governance. We will support ethical and transparent decision-making, responsible resource allocation, and accountability at all levels. Our approach will balance social and environmental priorities, fostering resilience and adaptability in our operations.

Implementation Strategies

1. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

We will actively engage stakeholders—including employees, customers, community members, and policymakers—to collaboratively develop and implement sustainable initiatives. Regular forums and feedback mechanisms will ensure that our efforts align with community needs and priorities.

2 . SUSTAINABILITY EDUCATION AND TRAINING

We will provide ongoing education and training to 100% of our employees, and all relevant stakeholders about sustainable practices and the importance of environmental stewardship. By fostering a culture of sustainability, we empower individuals to contribute positively to our goals.

3 . MONITORING AND REPORTING

Reporting is a crucial element of good governance. It enables us to demonstrate progress against our Goals and Targets, identify areas for improvement and share information in a transparent and accessible way. This is not only good practice, but it can also enhance our reputation and the trust of our clients, staff, suppliers and industry peers. We will communicate progress through the following reports:

  • ·Reporting on a project and/or client basis

  • ·Annual measurement of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for the business

  • ·Quarterly internal reporting against Goals and Targets progress

  • Annual external sustainability reporting

Conclusion

Our Sustainable Development Policy reflects our commitment to a future where governance, social, and environmental systems thrive in harmony. By integrating sustainability into our core operations and decision-making processes, we will contribute to a healthier planet, a fairer society, and a robust economy. We invite all stakeholders to join us in this vital journey toward sustainability and resilience for generations to come.
